Documentary photography is my happy place.
I have always been absorbed by capturing the moments I witness around me, consistently drawn to other humans and their stories. After completing a postgrad in development studies I decided I want to be showing the third side of any conflict: that of ordinary people caught up in destructive forces beyond their control.
Working with local and international NGOs on a variety of projects allowed me to nurture my curiosity further and explore the many and diverse themes of inequality. Over the years I followed my passion for photography to more than 40 amazing countries, such as Lebanon, Myanmar, Uganda or Mozambique.
As a visual creator, my style is rooted in an inclusive, patient approach that focuses on preserving the empathy and respect for the people I photograph. It is perfectly complemented by an aesthetic that shines the spotlight on beauty, strength and kindness.
I was born and bred in Vienna, today I live in London, travel extensively, try to meet more fascinating humans, keep failing to learn a fifth language and bloody hate coriander.
